A Jew born in Budapest, Glass relocated to Berlin in 1931 to cover the German racecar circuit & was the official photographer for the Mercedes-Benz racing team. By 1936, of course, he was forced to flee Germany for London, where he became a noted "naturist" & fashion photographer. Among his nude models was Pamela Green, the Bettie Page of Britain. While in London, he also worked as a still photographer for director Zoltan Korda. Glass died in France in 1982.
